Mario's Kitchen @ Tiendesitas

AN impeccably set restaurant
complemented by Spanish-Filipino
and Continental food, Mario’s
Kitchen - Tiendesitas is known for
its attention to detail and friendly service.
What makes this place special is that all
the architecture and the entire place was
designed by Andy Galutera and built by the
owners themselves.
The interior carries the theme of
Filipiniana, as the colored capiz chandelier
hangs from the ceiling; emphasized even
more by the style windows partly made
of capiz; large glass window on the sides
providing a relaxed
ambiance; wooden
tables with rattan
seats; assorted
emblems and
the famous Ugu
Bigyan-inspired
works adorn the
warm saffron
walls.
To complement
the eclectic dining,
live acoustic music
is performed
every Friday and
Saturday at 8:30
pm, where local
bands known for
their extraordinary vocals and harmonies,
wrestle the microphone. For exemplary
food with an unconventional flair, the
veranda, mantled by native blinds in the
second floor is a must to see.
This rustic yet cozy setting for small
weddings, special gatherings, and businessoriented
meals is best known for heirloom
specialties like Caesar Salad, Paella, Lengua,
and Toffee Sansrival. They continue to
develop and introduce new food concepts
while maintaining the traditional Mario’s
taste. From soups to salads to main courses,
truly a gastronomic masterpiece.
With the feel of casual dining, Mario’s
Kitchen’s cuisine presents options with
which one cannot go wrong. From the pasta
dishes accompanied by lasagne beef layered
with cheese and meat sauce, Spaghetti Meat
Sauce, Shrimp Marucca in creamy garlic
sauce, Angel Hair Pasta with black olives,
tomato, basil & garlic, to the various Mario’s
old time favorites, the Petite version of
Paella Valenciano Paellitas, special Spanish
casserole Callos Madrilena.
They offer a wide selection of dishes
which include: Cheeky Chicken and Pond-
Tastic Fish, or Pinoy Klasiks including Karekare,
Bistek Filipino, Tortang Talong, Lechon
Kawali and Ensaladang Mangga chopped
green mango, tomatoes, onions and shrimp
paste served. And they have the very best
of Dynamic Duet dishes like Paella with
Tortang Talong, Barbecued Spareribs with
Chopsuey, and Hot & Crunchy Fish Fillet
with Caesar Salad. Specials include the

Mario’s Kitchen - Tiendesitas is amazing.
The food is mind blowingly good even just
for merienda, or even lunch and dinner.
